I Went Over 34 Years Without Healthcare…. Yes 34 Years !! Since Age 16, when I had a massive Asthma Attack… My Dad Heroically Rushed Me to The Hospital , where I remember him begging them to treat me because Insurance Would Not Pay….Back in 1986 They Could Deny You Coverage… They said I had Asthma… before…..No Sorry I just got it…. And It was No Picnic as I Had other Disabling Issues later on which I chronicled in My Blog My Healthcare Journey #ExpandMedicaidNow #Impact ….. Which can be found on this site…….. So I Got Medicaid Thank God because sometimes in Life as You Age…. I Am 50 almost 51…. Now Your Health Can Get Worse…. Thank God For My Primary Care Physician….I got over 2 years High Blood Pressure High Colesterol and I Now Am Diabetic also…..Thank God For Medicaid…..Without The Bloodwork I could Have Died…..That Is Why I want to see All Insured…. These Are Three Examples of What is Occurring when It Comes To Access to Quality Affordable Healthcare In The State of Florida and 11 Other States….. Because These STATES Have Refused to Expand Medicaid…. When The Program was Expanded Under The Affordable Care Act in 2010…. The Money Is There….. We Are In A Pandemic Where We Lost As of Today….. 500,000 Americans…. They Suffered I Wonder How Many Were Uninsured… ?? It Is Time America To As One of My Favorite Musicians Bruce Springsteen sang in 2012 : “We Take Care Of Our Own” ….. On Healthcare It’s Time America….It’s Time Florida…. It’s Time 11 Other States…. Let’s Please Take Care Of Our Own …..And Help Them Have Healthcare….. America
