My Friends Today I am going to write this blog to you as a letter .

My Friends :

As of Today I will be taking some time off from my Activism. I will still tweet and post just not as much. The reason is I need to seriously figure out how to Grow #ExpandMedicaidNow from Social Media.

I am trying to build a movement to impact social change ! That is my dream and Calling ! But my support just is stagnant and it is very frustrating to deal with. Many of you when I started with a petition were very patient with me. As I posted it daily,  For that I am eternally Greatful.

But I am seeing too much narcissism ! Not just on Social Media but in Media in General. When I started my petition  I had a goal of 1 Milton Signers. I got 2,500. It was a very humbling experience.  After that I formed groups, Pages, tweeted and blogged. But Still No Positive Results and 1 Milion Uninsured still in Fl.

We should have had more of our stories Go National. But MSM Main Stream Media ignored us. I want to Thank the edshow for airing my tweets.  And The Miami Hearld for a great article on me, But We need and deserved more attention than that !

I sit here advocating for Amy and Genesis  Rodriguez both of whom need #ExpandMedicaidNow to happen ! Amy did a fund raiser for Genesis and it raised inly $500.00 in 8 months. She needs $10,000.00 a month just to buy medicines.  Many of you shared. But there is something wrong when a Kanye West GoFundme – For a millionaire gets more money than a sick 21 yr old ! Again Narcissism strikes !  This is why I am slowing this down Few really care ! Its more important to Cover #DonaldTrump and his hate than a sick girl.

I tried my best to message this ! Many thought I can’t spell or think sometimes.  But to my Critics : I Do My Best Sorry If You Do Not like It ! But with a Tracking Disirder – Where My Eyes Do Not Move !  Plus Processing and Dyslexia issues I am blessed to do this good ! I put up with Censorship and Control Issues too long ! It is not helping Us Get people insured ! It just wastes my time ! I  am sick of it !

To me it comes down to Will You Help Us or Not  ? I am hearing too many No’s and Not enough Yes !  So my Friends Thank you All for sharing tweeting and Rt ! I appreciate it ! And am blessed by your kindness, support and Friendship !  Know this : I Am Not Quitting Just Redeveloping ! And I Will be Back ! I Will be A Voice For The Voiceless ! I will continue to Speak out For Gun Saftety, The Poor and Disabled ! But especially for We The Uninsured ! #StepUp #SpeakOut #ExpandMedicaidNow ! Why would anyone reward this man with A Vote For President  ? What has he done ? Make money ! Good For him but how does that help those of Us Struggling to Survive ? Donnie Trump has No idea what its like to worry about bills, healthcare, having food or Medicine. He is The PosterChild For Hate in America. I have talked to Friends who are from other nations and they are concerned. They saw bad leaders in their nations. They know Trump they know he is No Good ! He is Not The Man You want As The Face of America. He is No GoodWill ambassador, but an IllWill Promoter.  Yes as the meme suggested he will pay your Legal Fees if you assault people at his rallies ! And another says he supports arming Voters at the polls.

Memo To his Supporters He is All Talk. He is using you for a sinister racist agenda ! That must be stopped ! The GOP won’t do it ! But We The Voters must ! His promises on Health care are empty.  #TrumpCare is No ObamaCare or #ExpandMedicaidNow ! He will cause many to die too soon ! Again like his promise to bail you out of jail ! Really he is Full of Hot Air ! Its a wonder he didn’t try to market and sell it ! That he would be great at ! Not making America Great Again ! America needs A Leader as President Not A salesman ! Trump Steaks, Trump Wine Anyone ?  Remember Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City NJ. My birthplace ! Its an empty building ! The Trump Show is not fun to watch. It is Pro Wrestling on Steriods with Political drama mixed in. It is downright scairy. Donnie Trump acts like the Late Al Gov George Wallace at the Schoolhouse door ! But his door is closed to all except the haters of America !  He is joyfully promoting hate in America ! Only he and Gov Wallace would accept David Duke as a supporter ! This weekend with Trump is like the 1960’s Civil Rights battles revisited only worse !  He is against Free Sppech as he tell his Army of Goons : “To Get Them The Hell Out of Here ! ” if you dare crash his events as a protester.  Just Disgusting and Very UnAmerican of You Donnie ! Which are Featured at the Televised #TrumpRiots daily !

That is why this meance to America must be stopped ! Dobald Trump his hate and #TrumpRallies #TrumpRiots are not amusing but vile and vulgar ! This is low class nom entertainment ! This not a carnival sideshow,  Wrestling, or a TV Reality Show ! Its Our Country, Our Government,  and Our Way of Life !  Trump with his actions is as dangerous to Our Freedom as A Terrorist is ! My Friends as an Uninsured person I now am an Expert in Healthcare. Yes an Expert ! I say this because If Self Proclaimed Expert , and (R) Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is one so am I ! Mr Trump approaches solutions to complex problems with an attitude of I can Fix This !

Well that is great if its building something in a City ! Memo To Mr Trump :  Sorry Donnie Its not that simple with Healthcare ! It took over 100 years to get the ACA,  Medicare, Medicaid, The VA and TriCare. People are finally able to have dignity. Not all do still. In 18 States People are still Ununsured due to Governors Refusal to #ExpandMedicaidNow !

Which is Where I come in to this  I am Uninsured still. I have been for over 30 years ! It is No Fun at all.So if Mr Trump Thinks he is qualified on this issue of Healthcare, well so am I  ! Mr Trump thinks his plan works ! But America it doesn’t !

Under Mr Trump’s Healthcare plan We go backwards ! Under The ACA Affordable Care Act aka OBAMACARE 30 Million people who were uninsured now are ! Why were they not insured before ?
Reasons :

1, Lack of Income to Buy Health Insurance
2, A Pre Existing  Health Condition which Big Insurers denied people coverage.

How was this problem solved by the ACA ?

1. The ACA provides Tax Credits and Reduced cost Health Plans. Plus in many states #ExpandMedicaidNow happened ! Putting Low Income workers into State Medicaid Peograms !
2. It is Now illegal Due To Federal Law to Deny Heakth   Insurance Coverage to Anyone with A PreExisting Condition.  

So Under Mr Trump’s plan Parts 1 and 2 will go away ! We return to 30 Million Plus Uninsured ! This is a Nightmare scenario for We The Uninsured. Leaving myself still stranded ? As when I was 16 my dad had to drop my insurance because of My Asthma. The insurance Company claimed it was a PRE EXISTING CONDITION.  It was Not ! So the games with Big Insurance will return again with #TrumpCare !

Question For Mr Trump : Donnie will my Friend Genesis Rodriquez get help buying expensive Respiratory Medicines she needs to Live ? Or Donnie will her Mom – Amy Rodriquez also Uninsured continues to have to beg For help ? How does your plan help them Donnie ? Donnie How will You Fix this ? You say : “I don’t want to see people dying in the streets ! ”

Yet Sad to say Mr Trump under your plan ; #TrumpCare many will die ! Hospitals in your plan are the savior ! Sorry Donnie they are debt ridden and overburdened now ! Your way is no way ! Your plan is a non starter for We The Uninsured ! If you read this you will say :”What does Fred Christian know ? Who is he ?

Well Donnie I have been fighting for 3 years on #ExpandMedicaidNow ! For Medicaid Expansion.  And as an Uninsured Disabled Activist on the issue of Medicaid Expansion . I have a Social Media org #ExpandMedicaidNow ! But people who think like you deny us coverage ! Like A man who you may know Fl Gov Rick Scott (R) . Yes Gov Scott who made his fortune on Hospitals.  The   HCA Columbia Chain of  Private For Profit Hospitals !  He of Medicare Medicaid Billing Fame !  Yet you and he deny us the help we need ! Your ilk with Gov Rick Snyder (R) Michigan poison us with bad water #FintWaterCrisis, and bad Health care ideas ! With your willful indifference and ignorance !   And You like Gov Scott have No plan ! And yes people have died in the street allready Charlene Dill !

So my friends We do nothing and get nothing with #TrumpCare ! It is like his other great ventures SEE BELOW :

Mr Trump is an expert at bankruptcy and marketing it. So much so his ideas are it too ! And on Healthcare many go bankruot from lack of it ! This idea of his will add to thar !

The reason is Few people will #SpeakUp , and #StepUp on behalf of #ExpandMedicaidNow. Who are actually Uninsured !  We can not get this done unless more people become involved in the process !

I work with a great team of Activists. Two of whom Amy Rodriquez,  and Genesis Rodriquez are actually Uninsured.  In Genesis’s case it actually is Life and Death. As she needs $10,000.00 worth of Medicines each month to Live ! But We need more of YOU WHO ARE UNINSURED TO #StepUp and #SpeakUp ! 3 Voices are NOT ENOUGH ! When there are 1 Milion Uninsured in Florida, and also in Texas ! A total of 3 Million in The United States !

We did Great with 30 Million People #GotCovered under the ACA AFFORDABLE CARE ACT aka OBAMACARE. But The Job is not done ! We have work to do ! And that is where you come in.

I want to see and hear more stories and people telling Us,  why they need #ExpandMedicaidNow to happen for them. Not just in Florida but the 17 other states that refused to #ExpandMedicaidNow ! This should be a National Disgrace ! But Untill more of you #SpeakUp and #StepUp nothing happens !

The one thing the opponents of Medicaid Expansion do not want to see or hear is actual people ! Why because then it becomes human and it becomes personal.  I remember the First time I publicly spoke up about being Uninsured. And it changed people ! No longer was it a number.  But there was an actual person afffected by this – Me !  The reaction is desperately needed to impact change ! So to All the people in the Minimum Wage meme below :

My friends this Healthcare problem with the Uninsured is not going away. In fact in one case it is getting worse for a Family ! My Friend Amy Rodriguez has courageously fought to #ExpandMedicaidNow for sick daughter Genesis Rodriquez.  As of yesterday her youngest daughter Staphany who is 19 is Uninsured now too. All are pictured above. Amy as a Part Time Social Worker too is Uninsured.

Stephany is a Diabetic, and suffers from Sleep Apnea. Thus she like her big sister Genesis, needs access to Doctors, and Medicine too. It is just disgusting and Appaling how Gov Rick Scott (R) Fl, can ignore the needs of his people. 

It is bad enough seeing adults sick, suffering, and dying. But to willingly allow young people like Genesis, and Stephany to suffer is just immoral ! Yes Immoral to walk by the sick and not help ! It is THE GOOD SAMARITAN ! In 2016 ! But this time

with A Mom, and her kids !

This is just insane that in 2016 we as a Society Allow this to still happen ! In Stephany’s case she had Medicaid but was aged out of it ! Which is an Outage because ,kids who have parents with Healthcare , now can stay on it till age 25. Thanks to President Obama and the ACA ! The idea of the ACA is to have young people insured to help the sick. Yet as Usual Gov Scott exploits a loophole !

The Loop Hole No #ExpandMedicaidNow ! By not taking the Federal Medicaid Dollars for Expansion !  Who knows how many young adults suffer like Genesis and Stephany !  We are supposed to be a better people than this. Are We to allow a whole Family to suffer ? Suffer for not making enough money ! Yet we celebrate the Rich ! It is just disgusting !

We must not only #ExpandMedicaidNow for all Uninsured.  But provide coverage for kids like Genesis, and Stephany until they can afford to pay for a policy themselves. The idea is to keep all insured and give dignity to the sick !

So be aware not only are the middle aged and old sick. But many young people too. And the Youth Are The Future America. Many are dying young from violence with guns too ! And Yes many are Uninsured ! Who pays for them ? We all do ! And their recovery is not cheap !  So You are obligated to help them ! Its up to you do nothing let our kids die ! Or do something and they live !  You can do something by supporting #ExpandMedicaidNow ! You will save many. But your silence like Gov Scott kills many too young ! I am sick of seeing it happen are you America ? The Choice is yours inaction, or action !

My Friends today I almost had a heart attack. And being Uninsured that would not have been good ! The reason I called a Pharmacy about a medicine I take for my Asthma ! It was the Generic Of Singulair Monkellast Sodium. Usually I pay $45.00 for a 90 day supply. The person on the phone quoted me a price of $300.00 I about died. Talk about sticker schock !

But the playbook was revealed to us by Former Turing Pharma CEO Martin Shkrelli . A man who wanted to charve $700.00 for one pill ! It seems he influenced a few others. This is a very dangerous idea to do this !

Take for Example my Friend Genesis Rodriquez (Pictured Below) who is Uninsured and desperately needs respiratory medicines to live. Genesis is currently using over the counter remedies. As she tries to live. Her Medicines cost over $10,000.00 per month ! No normal person can afford that !

This is absolutely disgusting that people are soaking people for medicines ! Where is their humanity ? Oh they don’t have it ! Like Fl Gov Rick Scott (R). Who could get Genesis and I our medines at an affordable rate by #ExpandMedicaidNow ! But no he of Big Hospital Fame got his and leaves us to die !

We face an epidemic with this that will afect young and old. As senoirs are really feeling the pinch. So we as a society must decide do We want people to live ? Or die quickly as a Man said ! Ironically the same forces gouging are the ones stopping #ExpandMedicaidNow ! So we now must decide is Human Life more Important than Greed ! I hope it is more important than greed ! We the sick need help America ! Please help us before its too late ! So please give us access to Medicine and #ExpandMedicaidNow America !

My Friends today I am going to discuss how #RaiseTheWage. Affects #ExpandMedicaidNow ! Both of these issues impact the lives of Working Americans. You see without A Livable wage of $15.00 many can not afford to buy Healthcare Under The ACA. So they become dependant on Public Asssistance in the Form of Medicaid Expansion.

But what if you are sick and need Healthcare ? What do you do then ? Well if you are lucky enough to live in a state that Expanded Medicaid You are ok ! But if not you will be in trouble. If  you are under employed you fall into this category ! Many people who work PART TIME do not qualify for ACA subsidies so they are automatically kicked into Medicaid ! Due to having too Low of an income to qualify.! Therefore the Safety Net with #ExpandMedicaidNow is Vital !

For example my Friend Amy Rodriquez works Part Time as A Social Worker. She is 42 years old and Uninsured ! Thus because of her Part Time Status she is only eligible for Medicaid ! And our State Florida refuses to #ExpandMedicaidNow. ! Thus leaving Amy and 1 Million others in Healthcare Limbo !

But there are two ways out for the Working Poor ! The First is to #RaiseTheWageto15 so people are off public assistance. This enables people to buy Health Insurance from the ACA HEALTH EXTANGES MARKETPLACE. This can also frre up more funds to #ExpandMedicaidNow for the disabled and Unemployed ! Thus countering the argument that too many are in the system and We can not afford to #ExpandMedicaidNow.  When in reality the money is there and We can #ExpandMedicaidNow !

The second is to #ExpandMedicaidNow to All Part Time Workers. So at least they have healthcare ! Plus #RaiseztheWageTo$15 ! A combination of both of these measures is the best ticket out of poverty for the working poor ! Many who go wthout Healthcare !

And when you go without Healthcare you join the ranks of the unssen victims. Hard workers like Charlene Dill who had she been paid a Livable Wage or #ExpandMedicaidNow happened .She would be alive today !

So There is a Desperate need for both of these issues to happen ! And happen soon ! As many struggle to afford Food and A place to Live ! Healthcare is a Luxury to them. So by #RaiseTheWageto$15 and #ExpandMedicaidNow You save lives not cost them ! Both must happen #ExpandMedicaidNow will provide access to Healthcare for all who need it and Can not afford it ! Raising the wage will provide relief finacially ! Both must happen and both together could go a long way America !

My Friends This month I celebrate an Unhappy Anniversary ! It was 30 years ago this time I became Uninsured ! I suffered an Asthma Attack at age 16, and they dropped me from my Family’s policy ! Saying it was a Pre Existing Condition and it was not ! Ever since I have been Uninsured relying on Friends, Family, and Charity for my Medical needs !  And I am Sick of It ! I want to be Insured #ExpandMedicaidNow Allready !

You see now Thanks to President Obama (D) who got us the ACA (AFFORDABLE CARE ACT) (OBAMACARE) .With help From U.S. Speaker of The House (D) Nancy Pelosi ,and U.S. Senate Leader Harry Reid (D) ,  Insurance companies can no longer discriminate over Pre Existing Conditions ! This also is the case with The SCHIP (STATE CHILDRENS HEALTH INITIATIVE PROGRAM) championed by Former U.S. Secratary of State, U.S. Senator from NY, First Lady,  and Current Presidential candidate (D) Hillary Clinton.  This too covers sick kids ! I wish I had it then. This was also championed by #SinglePayer advocate, Presidential candidate and U.S. Sen Bernie Sanders (D) Vt. And The late U.S. Sen Ted Kennedy (D) Ma. Thank you to All !

But We had a chance in Fl to #ExpandMedicaidNow and #CloseTheGap ! We had a BiPartisan Plan (A Healthy Florida). Authored by Fl Sen Andy Gardner (R) Orlando. But Fl House Speaker (R) Steve Crissifulli Merritt Island killed it ! FL Governor Rick Scott (R) demonstrated willful indifference to it ! Leaving Myself and 1 Million others in Fl in Healthcare limbo !

After 30 years of this I am sick of it period ! Sick of seeing hard working peoole like Charlene Dill die young ! Sick of seeing my Friends Amy Rodriguez and Gen Rodriquez beg for care ! Or use home over 4he counter  remedies to stay alive ! You see Gen needs $10,000.00 worth of Medicine for Respiratory Illneses to stay alive ! Without Insurance its impossible to afford ! I too am sick of begging for care !

But We are not alone as Clinics and Hospitals due to budget issues may close. Clinics in Fl had a budget of $9 Million now of $4.5 milliin yet to be approved.  LIP (LOW INCOME POOL) Funds (HOSPITAL CHARITY CARE) Funds dropped from $  1 Billion Dollars to $600 Million Dollars ! Too much ground to be made up ! Leaving We The Uninsured in Limbo Facing Death Needlessly !

It is just disgusting to live this way ! When Insured You take your card out and worry about getting well ! We The Uninsured go through this process :
1. Go to Emergency Room and Beg for Care
2. Worry about Getting Well
3. Worry about Paying The Hospital, Doctors, Ambulance,  and other Medical Bills !
4. Have to Fight For Hospital Charity ! Some may not qualify or offer it ! 5. Face Bankruptcy from Debt !

I am sick of the indifference of Gov Scott ! We ask little I really hoped when the ACA became law I would be a participant in it ! Not a bystander begging for it ! Yesterday I talked to A Cornell University Professor about this. She like many, when I tell them was surpised by how long I have been Uninsured ! And It is too long !

But you like your ignorant hateful world ! Its not about President Obama but Us Governor ! Get over it he Won ! And We suffer due to your hate ! My Friends today I am going to discuss The #ZikaVirus and its affects on an invisible population. The Invisible population is We The Uninsured in Fl. Currently 5 Counties in Florida are under Public Health Emergency.
The #ZikaVirus is a mosquito born virus. It originated in South America. The Virus can be transmitted by mosquito bite and  Sexually also. So please be responsible and use a condom. It travels through the blood stream.
The harm of this virus is it causes BIRTH DEFECTS in Pregnant Women. So This is another good reason to #ExpandMedicaidNow. So all have access to Doctors !

Diseases like this are public health nightmares waiting to happen ! Especially with the poor, sick, and Uninsured ! .

For Example We got lucky with SARS, BIRD FLU, and Ebola ! But next time maybe not so ! In the early 1900’s Typhoid struck*** ! It was spread by an actual person Mary Mallon – WHO WOULD Become “TYPHOID MARY”  an Irish immigrant cook who killed 51 people .

But now we the Uninsured face exposure to super viruses that could. wipe us out !
We deserve access to Doctors not just Emergency Rooms ! But Governors like mne Rick Scott (R) Fl continue to ignore the problem .**It  is so bad in fact funding for Free Clinics was cut from $9 Million Dollars to $4.5 Million Dollars ! So What does Gov Scott and like minded people want we the Uninsured and sick to do ? We may not have Free Clinics or County ones to go to ! This due to cuts in LIP LOW INCOME POOL FUNDS.  THE LIP funds are for Hospitals, and Clinics to treat the Uninsured ! But if both close and a disease outbreak happens then what ? I will Tell you what ! Deaths by the thousands then millions ! On whose hands will it be ? Of Course Gov Scott who takes lessons in penny pinching, from Gov Rick Snyder (R) of Michigan.  The Political Typhoid Mary !  Is Gov Snyder a man who knowingly to save money poisoned his own people. He allowed The City of Flint Mi, to use Polluted Tap water with lead in it ! Thus causing deaths and birth defects to innocent people ! Gov Snyder did #ExpandMedicaidNow and his people need it ! Unlike Gov Scott sitting on his hands doing nothing !

Causing people like myself ,Amy ,and Gen Rodriquez to beg and borrow to stay alive. As we have no Healthcare at all. Gen needs $10,000.00 a month worth of Respiratory  Medicines. She can’t get them and is using over the counter remedies. The reason we live this way is our Governor Rick Scott (R) willfully refuses to #ExpandMedicaidNow ! Leaving 1 Million in Fl at risk !

So if a major disease outbreak occurs ,that can not be controlled then what ? No Hospitals, or Clinics then what ? I will tell you what Death for many ! The Typhoid Mary’s will be Gov Scott and others like him ! People living in ignorance to reality !  Yes Gov Scott you are the Modern Typhoid Mary ! A Tag I wouldn’t want !

But We can do something We must #ExpandMedicaidNow to save lives ! Then we have a fighting chance against outbreaks ! It is  simple preventative Medicine  just #ExpandMedicaidNow !
