My Friends Today June 25,2015 is a Great day for those fighting to keep and get Healthcare in The U.S.A.  ! The U.S.  Supreme Court ruled today that The ACA subsidies would remain as well as the extanges ! Thank you to Justices Sotomayor Kennedy Bader-Ginsburg Kaegan Breyer and yes again Chief Justice Roberts for doing the humane thing ! Your example should be followed by many of the opponets of the ACA and #ExpandMedicaidNow !
Its time to decide are we going to be humane or pinch pennies ? Isn’t your health or the health and well being of those in your Nation State and Communities more important than money !
This morning I was enraged at U.S. Sen Claire McCaskill’s (D) MO atttack on U.S. Sen Bernie Sanders (D) VT a Presidential Candidate on MSNBC MORNING JOE TODAY ;
MCcaskill was asked why Sanders was unelectable ? She said he is a Socialist favoring Government Heathcare We can’t afford ! ”

I personally find her comments insulting ! As an Uninsured person considering Hillary Clinton supports Single Payer too ! But it shows where We Are At As A Nation ! This funding and tax arguement is disgusting ! I PERSONALLY DO NOT CARE IF ITS DEM OR GOP LIB OR CONSERVATIVE ! If you say this garbage it shows how inhumane you are !
The idea is to save Lives Period ! I do this not just for myself but Amy and Gen Rodriquez and 1 Million others in Fl ! And in 19 other states too ! We must decide to be humane money can not help you if you are dead ! Hospitals Doctors Nurses and Pharmacies keep you alive ! So What do you want a Healthy Nation or a Sick and dying one ?
We THE UNINSURED NEED YOUR HELP AMERICA   ! Can and Will you fight for myself Amy and Gen Rodriguez and the still Uninsured in America ? Or will you sit on the sidelines and do nothing helping heartless penny pinching Politicians  let sick peoole die needlessly  ? The Choice is easy be humane help your fellow man woman and child ! My Friends this event with the #Charleston #CharlestonShooting is horrible ! My Thoughts and Prayers do go out to all 9 Families Involved and The City of Charleston and South Carolina ! But as First Lady Michelle Obama Eloquently said today “We need to do more than just say our thoughts and prayers are with you !”  She is right ! I agree with her. Too many are dying today like in that Church in Charleston S.C. that don’t have to !

We All can breathe a sigh of relief the gun man was caught ! But now we are facing two real crisises ahead ! A crisis of Hate that has been simmering for years ! This hate of our Government President and others who are somehow perceived “As Different”  !
Plus another crisis Guns that are used by people having NO BUSINESS HAVING ONE ! These two crisis are a National Emergency !

The Hate and division is not just Racial it is economic also ! It has transcended from Racial Religious and Ethnic to Ideological and Economic ! As a Poor Disabled person who is White I sympathize with All Victims of Injustice ! I face it in my Cause of #ExpandMedicaidNow  ! As We The Uninsured in Fl were denied healthcare once again ! A clear example of Hate ! I see it when I am on Social Media I have been called vile things by some hateful individuals ! This hate is in our Government now !

Sandy Hook should have sent a message to Us as a people ! But it didn’t ! Instead The NRA NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION keep up their REIGN OF TERROR on our Elected officials by threatening to unseat them if they dare make America Safer !

Yesterday proved that The NRA and the forces of hate are working to divide and will destroy America ! The  ASSASIN / DOMESTIC TERRORIST  in the Church in Charleston wanted to harm others he admitted it ! Why BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT LIKE HIM ! I faced a KKK member on Twitter and with help got him off of it ! The ignorance and hate he spewed was sickening  ! But We Stood Up to Him !

That is What the First Lady and President Obama meant in their statements ! We as a peoole must do some real soul searching ! Our Nation is at Stake I believe there are forces who want THEIR AMERICA out there ! And their America is not pretty for anyone except them !

We face a choice keep allowing hateful individuals to deny us healthcare safe communities and our basic rights and dignity ! Or to make some changes !

We should be able to see a Dr or go to a Hospital without worry of Financial Ruin ! We should be able to go to a Mall Theater School College or our Workplace without fear of being shot ! We should be able to live in safe affordable communities where you can be outside ! We should be able to go to Church and Worship in Peace ! This is about #Dignity and #Resoect because yes #BlackLivesMatter #PoorLivesMatter and #AllLivesMatter !

The Hate is every where now rich poor famous we all see it feel it and some of us get it ! And it is needless ! Do I want YOUR GUNS ? No I don’t I just want a Safe kind decent Nation Again ? That is #Tolerant of All ! What Do You Want America ? More #Charleston #SandyHook ? Or better ? We are a better people than this ! Or do you want better I do ! So did the 9 that died ! My friends we have had an interesting few years particularly this last one .  We have seen outrageoys actions by Law Enforcement in #FERGUSON MISSOURI with #Mike Brown. NYC with #Eric Gardner #Baltimore with #FreddieGray and recently #Texas with #TexasPoolParty.
But its not just the Police who seem to lack a sense of calm and respect for others. But our very own elected officials as well, There is alot of mistrust and misunderstanding going on.
What is needed is RESPECT AS The Great ARETHA FRANKIN Sang :”R-E-S-P-E-C-T Find Out What It Means to Me” Well what does it mean to you ?
Does it mean sitting on top of a 15 yr old girl who was at a pool parry or chasing un armed teens at the same place ? To me the answer is obvious NO RESPECT PERIOD. The same with #Baltimore #FreddieGray #NYC #EricGardner #Ferguson #MikeBrown. But at the same time burning  property and theft is showing no RESPECT either. You can voice your anger frustration and disapproval without harming others or property. Yes Law Enorcement that means you too ! Its called Respect !
But its not just Law Enforcement its our elected oficials as well. The Lack of Respect for President Barack Obama absolutely disgusts me ! I support him I know he cares about me and others . Yes on one policy I disagreed with him. But I do not belive as some do that he has any agenda that is hidden. This man gave many of us Healthcare re created jobs lost by the GOP. Yet the hate of this hard working man is beyond insane. But its not just Him President Bill Clinton was hounded daily by enemies. We are losing RESPECT for oters by taking a disagreement and turning it into hate.
For Example My State of Fl turned down Medicaid Expansion that would have helped 1 Million Fl Residents including myself Amy Rodriquez Gen Rodriquez and many others who desperately need it ! Leaving us to still beg for care or go to the ER or potentially die. As a result of the GOP in Fl and their hate of President Obama ! Governor Scott and Speaker Steve Crissafulli have No Respect for Human Life by doing this !
Yet Governor Scott topped himself by VETOING A BILL That Even Speaker Crissafulli wanted that would Protect Conveniece Store Workers – If harmed in a Robbery while on the job. His rationale It costs too much. So The Governor shows where he is at – He RESPECTS
money and the power brokers with it ! Not Us the Working people of Fl.
The lack of RESPECT costs us daily ! Lives are at risk of WE THE UNINSURED ! The Sevice Sector many of whom barely make enough money to survive and are the victims of Governor Scott and his lack of RESPECT FOR OTHERS ,
Talk to the Family of Charlene Dill 32 yr old Single Mom of 3 died without health insurance ! Medicaid Eligible in Fl ! A woman who worked 3 jobs to support herself and her kids. Yet died of a heartattack on a floor of a persons home selling Vacum cleaners to support herself and kids. – NO RESOECT FROM GOV SCOTT OR THE FL HOUSE !
No RESPECT FOR Mike Brown Eric Garner Freddie Gray either ! What do all have in common ! They like me are poor !
THE WAR ON POVERTY HAS TURNED INTO A WAR ON THE POOR ! But just because those doing this to us do not RESPECT US is no excuse to act in Violence ! We must show RESPECT FOR OTHERS Even If NONE is Shown Back !
Trust me I know as A Social Media Activist who is Disabled I get it daily ! The TROLLS ARE VICIOUS ! But TROLLS KNOW THIS I AM NOT GOING AWAY ! We must not give uo or give in because #Poverty and #PoorLuvesMatter #BlackLivesMatter and #AllLivesMatter ! No matter its about #Dignity and #RESPECT At The End of The Day ! My Friends this Weekend was a bad set back as the Fl House Overwhelmingly shot down our dream of seeing #ExpandMedicaidNow #CloseTheGap happen by a 72 to 41 Vote in The Florida State House after being Successfully passed by the Fl Senate in BiPartisan Fashion a rarity in these times.
We got to at least get a hearing so maybe we may see this happen. But it should have happened in my opinion.
The Big Reason IT DID NOT ? THE MONEYED INTERESTS FROM OUT OF STATE THE KOCH BROTHERS And ALEC !
Who Are they you may ask? Charles and David Koch are the Sons of an Oil Dynasty Texaco they also sell Cottonelle and Charmin Angel Soft Tissue and other paper products. They own media companies.
Their goal is a radical anti Government one. They are NOT Typical Pro Business GOP. They are Libertarian Radicals with a dangerous agenda.
What is ALEC ? The American Legislative Extange Commission – A Pro Business anti labor Lobbying effort by major corporations in The US.
These two groups paired with Americans For Prosperity A Koch Funded lobbying agency killed Healthcare for the poor in Fl by buying a State Legislature and Governor.
I sit along with my friends Amy and Gen Rodriguez Uninsured today along with 1 Million Uninsured in Fl. Thanks to them.
But i intend to keep speaking out and will expose the injustice done by these people !
Not only is our chance at having dignity with healthcare at risk but our Whole Way of Life as Americans  is at Risk with this agenda that intends to Stop Free Speech and Assembly and Circumvents Election Laws ! Its up to you i for one AM NOT GOING  AWAY ! You Will See #ExpandMedicaidNow / #CloseTheGap Until All Are Insured !
I have to question why when HealthyFl was a Free Market approach to #ExpandMedicaidNow they rejected it ? Money would have been made and taxes maybe lowered ! Why more hate of President Obama?  Please Enough of the hate people die daily without healthcare and I PESONALLY AM SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING PEOPLE SICK SUFFERING AND DYING NEEDLESSLY!

My Friends as a child I loved the Flintstones Cartoon ! Fred was like me today hard working always trying but struggling. But he never gave up ! And When it comes to #ExpandMedicaidNow Neither Am I !!
I used to kid my dad about resembling Fred Flintstone. But now in a way I do by trying to make it better for All !
You See Healthcare should be for All. We shouldn’t have to beg for care. Governor Scott and Speaker Crissafulli want us to go back to the Real Stone Age. With No Healthcare and No Hospitals Unless you can pay for it with insurance. This is a Disgrace and Should be an Outrage to All in Our Great Nation ! We The Unisured are asking for a simple thing Dignity. The Dignity of having access to Medical Care.
Today instead of Leading The Mr Slate of Florida Governor Scott went to Disney World to hob nob with Jindall Walker Cristie Bush Rubio and Friends. My friends Fl is no Mickey Mouse state to run ! We are at a potential crisis with no budget and our Hospitals closing potentially.  But our Gov decides to host a summt at Disney while many like Amy and Gen Rodriquez and myself suffer without healthcare. And Yes Charlene Dill died near Orlando without healthcare.
This Is Not The Stone Age We have the Greatest Healthcare System in the World ! Its time all had access to it ! By playing Politics like Gov Scott does instead of leading is leading us down a road to a bad outcome. An outcome of more sickness and deaths. We need Healthcare and Hospitals Gov Scott ! This is no joke ! President Obama created the ACA to save lives not upset You ! We The Uninsured do not have time for #PettyPolitics for our very lives are at risk ! This is 2015 Not the Stone Age ! If a cartoon can show people helpng each other why can’t you just do the right thing and #ExpandMedicaidNow and #CloseTheGap  ! For our lives are in the balance ! My Friends Tomorrow is a huge day potentially for #ExpandMedicaidNow in Fl and for myself Amy Rodriguez and Genesis Rodriguez personally.  Tomorrow The Senate comes back into session to Finally Vote to #ExpandMedicaidNow with Healthy Fl. I was under the impression it did pass. But it was only in 2 committees. But The Senate Must Pass this First.. For any good to come out of this session..The House still refuses to deal with the REALITY that Hospitals Will close If #ExpandMedicaidNow Doesn’t Happen.
The idea of Profit Sharing by Gov Scott with the Hospitals is a joke. They and the Senate are not interested.  Why they know it is NO PLAN. It is not realistic.
We Face a huge Crisis in Fl with No Budget Potentially and on July 1,2015 A State Shutdown !
Why Gov Scott and the Legislature putting Taxes before the Welfare of the State its Residents and Visitors !
Yes by not #CloseTheGap #PoorLivesMatter #EXPANDMEDICAIDNOW . Visitors if sick or hurt May Not Have Hospitals to go to ! Yes if We The Uninsured Do Not Get Help We May Die !
All this over Taxes and Ideology ! Yes the Hate of President Obama factors in this too. Its an EXCUSE NOT TO HELP THE POOR IN FL.
Their refusal to give him credit for the ACA plays a role in this pathetic Drama. But the Fl Senate sees Reality Unlike The House and Gov Scott they have a plan to Insure the Poor and Save The Hospitals from closing. It is better than What Gov Scott and the House have. Which Is 0 !!
SO Tomorrow We Shall See What happens in Fl.  Will We The Uninsured Get Dignity or be Tossed Yet Again To The Curb by Gov Scott  !

My Friends today i wrote a letter to President Obama to help us in Fl. Yes he is aware of the situation but we do need his help.

Dear President Obama

Thank you for getting involved in our fight in Fl to Expand Medicaid in Fl.  I am actually one of the People affected by this. Mr President I never had insurance in my adult lifetime.  And I am 45 years old.
It started when i was 16 with Asthma.My family couldn’t afford the insurance anymore. So i had to depend on Family for help with Medicine and Doctors. Plus i got sick and visited the ER a few times too.
Plus I had a few other issues such as Dyslexia and LD to deal with. But i got tired of seeing people like me suffer. So I became a Social Media Activist.  I tweet @FredChristian10 and on Facebook to keep awareness to this issue.
My Concern is If Medicaid is not Expanded our Hospitals will close. This would cause unecessary Death and Suffering.  Can you please have someone help me with this issue. I will enclose my contact info. I want to share my story more. I have it in a blog titled My Healthcare Journey.  Plus can you please speak out and encourage Fl to #EXPANDMEDICAIDNOW and #CloseTheGap. I hope we can do this not just for me but my friends Amy and Genesis Rodriguez too.

My Friends as Many of you know i had a rough week. I went to the ER with Bronchitis.; I am ok now but it made me and I hope all of you think about something

In my last blog I talked about LIP LOW INCOME POOL.; These are Federal Government Subsidies given to States and Hospitals to cover the Uninsured as part of Indigent Care.

On June 30 Fl could lose 1 Billion Dollars of This Fund ***Seource Randy Schultz Sun Sentinel Column Sat March 7, 2015 .

This is very dangerous for the sick if you Have Cancer Have A Stroke Heart Attack or are in any situation such as an Auto Accident or Shooting you will be in trouble.

This Must Not Happen We Must Urge Our Law Makers to stop this nonsense now ! Not Just in Fl but 21 other States Refusing to #ExpandMedicaidNow will be affected by this.! Today I actually had a debate with a person who actually thought Medicaid Expansion was not good and they have Medicaid. I do not want to be Uninsured.  The Jackson Health Systems program will be eliminated with No. Medicaid Expansion or LIP. leaving Many in Miami Dade the poorest and highest Uninsured in Fl to Fend for Themselves!  After last week in.the ER I said to myself :”I Do Not Want To Beg For Medical Care Ever ! ” i didn’t have to this time. But We All May After June 30, 2015 !
And The ER which is strained now may close or refuse care ! This is A Gamble Where We May All Lose, So We Must Push to #ExpandMedicaidNow ! Thank You All God Bless

My Friends this is an Important blog that I am Resharing today.

My Friends today is an Important day in Medicaid Expansion!  The State House and Senate go in Session today.

We have a new development I learned about on Sunday in both the Sun Sentinel and Miami Hearld article *(Section B Local and State pp 1 and 7 B Miami Hearld ) The Legislature has to wrestle with either taking Medicaid Expansion or trying to replace funding for Indigent care which I currently qualify for.
Jackson Health Systems The Public Trust Hospital in Miami Dade county Fl is projected to lose $167 Million Dollars. Thus putting an entire county at Risk that are Uninsured. Jackson Health Systems is Ryder Trauma Center and Holtz Childrens Hospital plus a partnership with The University of Miami. If Uninsured shot or in an accident you need a Trauma Center – Ryder is The Best.

The $167 Million Dollars affects All Hospitals in Fl as this money goes toward indigent care  ! The Indigent Care program Will SunSet Thanks to The ACA. Now What do We The Uninsured Do ? This is a potential disaster for us ! Yesterday I went to the ER because of a Respiratory Illness. It was Bronchitis.  I am ok i couldn’t see my primary care clinic as a walk in so I had to go to the ER. BUT IF HOSPITALS CLOSE or Cut Access to care many will die needlessly !
I read a quote on Medicaid Expansion from New  Fl House Speaker Steve Crissafulli  (R- Meritt Island ) ** Seource Sun Sentinel Sun March 1,2015 Editorial Page “says he is a never -say – never kind  of a guy”
I and the 1 Million UNINSURED in Fl hope so. Facing No Indigent Funds is an ugly disaster. So Please Fl Senate Do The Right Thing #ExpandMedicaidNow.  Thank you God BLESS

** Since writing this I am not Eligible For Dade county Jackson LIP CARD due to my inability to provide documentation they accept. So I again am also 100% Uninsured too
