#IMPACT / AT IMPACT MEDIA INC WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

#IMPACT / AT IMPACT MEDIA INC MISSION STATEMENT

WE ARE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS…. GOING FROM SOCIAL MEDIA TO THE PEOPLE… EDUCATING, INFORMING, AND INSPIRING.

The Visionary: Fred Christian

Fred Christian is the President & Founder of #IMPACT / AT IMPACT MEDIA INC. He is an Author, Poet, Visual Artist, Public Speaker, and Minister. As a Minister, Fred brings a spiritual and moral foundation to his advocacy, fighting for the inherent dignity of every human being. Under his leadership, Impact Media Inc. has become a sanctuary for storytelling that demands justice, inspires resilience, and forces systemic change.

The “Why”: Advocacy Origin Story
Fred’s commitment to being a “Voice for the Voiceless” is deeply rooted in his personal experience with the healthcare system. Fred went from age 16 to 50 without Healthcare, a period that profoundly shaped his understanding of systemic inequality and the struggle of the uninsured. After navigating the world with an undiagnosed disability for decades, he was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 43. This turning point exposed the systemic barriers many face in accessing medical care and inspired his lifelong mission.
Healthcare & Human Rights: Fred’s journey is detailed in his writing, “My Healthcare Journey,” and documented in the FIU Digital Commons Oral History, where he discusses the wealth gap, Medicaid Expansion, and social justice.

Media & Political Commentary: From 2013 until its conclusion, Fred’s insights on Medicaid Expansion and national policy were frequently featured on The Ed Schultz Show, establishing him as a recognized commentator on national policy.

Stopping Gun Violence Nationwide: Fred became involved in online efforts to stop gun violence in 2014 with Moms Demand Action. Following the 2018 tragedy at Parkland, FL, he became a prominent public voice calling for an end to gun violence across the entire nation.

Creative Advocacy: Fred uses his creative talents as a tool for change, writing the powerful poem “HOW MANY” to advocate for peace. Additionally, Fred Christian creates all Visual Arts for #IMPACT, unless otherwise noted.
