@ferrellzabala The House could vote as early as TODAY on Trump’s disastrous “Big Beautiful: Budget Bill.” All hope isn’t lost yet—we can still fight back against this bill, but we must get loud and act fast.
Text SILENCERS to 644-33 and tell your representatives to vote NO against this bill that is harmful to all our communities.

Medicaid Is A Lifeline For The Sick and Disabled. It Has Saved Lives. Including Mine. I Went Years From Age 16 to Age 50 Without Healthcare. Having to watch As A 16 Yr Old My Father Beg For My Care At A Hospital While I Had An An Asthma Attack. The First of Many Times I would Beg For Care And Medicine Too. No One In 2025 In America Should Ever Beg To Stay Alive. I Got Medicaid In 2020 With My Disability. It Saved My Life. I Am Now Also Diabetic Plus Have Asthma and High Blood Pressure. Without Medicaid I Could not Afford My Medicines. That Is Why We Must Expand Medicaid Not Cut It. Cutting It Will Be A Death Sentence to Many. As They Will Not Be Able to Seek Treatments and Afford Medicine. So Who Helps Us ? If We Have A Car Accident ? Are A Domestic Violence or Gun Violence Victim ? Have A Heart Attack, Stroke, Break A Limb, Cancer Diagnosis, Need Mental Health Services To Prevent A Crisis or Tradgedy? Who Treats Us ? How Do We Pay To Live When We Struggle To Live Now.? Medicaid Saved My Life IT Saves Lives… Cutting It Makes People Beg For Care Like I Had To For Years …. Hoping Nothing Bad Would Happen. Possibly Killing Them. That Is No Way To Live …It’s Cruel And Inhumane No One Should Beg For Healthcare in 2025 Period … We Need To Go Forward Keeping And Expanding Access To Care. Not Returning To The Past With People Begging Suffering Sick In Silence We Must Go Forward …Not Go Back To Begging
Thank You Fred Christian Miami Gardens Fl

#Repost @joyannreid —— This southern sheriff just said the quiet part out loud. . Repost from @thegrio • 🚨 “We will kill you, graveyard dead.” — Florida Sheriff Wayne Ivey
Just days ahead of the nationwide “No Kings” protests opposing President Trump’s immigration raids, deportations, and military parade, a Florida sheriff is going viral for all the wrong reasons.
At a press conference Thursday, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey issued an alarming threat to protesters: “If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies… your family will collect your remains.”
The sheriff—an open Trump supporter—also warned demonstrators that if they block streets, resist arrest, or even spit on police, they’ll either be “in jail, in the hospital—or worse.”
His chilling language mirrors Trump’s recent post threatening protesters: “If they spit, we will hit.”
Elected officials and advocates are condemning Ivey’s rhetoric as dangerous and authoritarian.
“Florida deserves leaders who de-escalate tensions, not inflame them,” State Sen. Shevrin Jones tells theGrio.
“The right to protest is foundational to our democracy… threatening protesters with death is reckless and unconstitutional.”
With nearly 2,000 “No King” rallies expected across the country this weekend—including in Florida, where tensions are already high—the call to reject fear and stand for democracy has never been louder.

#GrioFam, what do you make of this rhetoric from law enforcement? Does this sound like public safety—or a threat to protest itself? Share your thoughts below.👇🏾
