A group of law enforcement, some wearing masks, some wearing Homeland Security Investigation vests and one wearing a Metropolitan Transit Police Department T-shirt, were swarmed by a group of D.C. residents in the Columbia Heights neighborhood Tuesday.

The group of law enforcement eventually entered two unmarked vehicles and a Metropolitan Transit Police Department car. The crowd cheered and clapped as they drove off.

A Washington Post reporter who observed the interaction did not see any of the agents make arrests.
