My Friends lately there has been alot of discussion about the direction and  future of Healthcare in America. As an Uninsured Activist IT’S TIME ….That I weigh in ! Myself as an Uninsured person I  I have given some thought to what I think should happen. !

We must Start by #ExpandMedicaidNow this is my personal mission ! I will not rest until All Are Insured in America ! This means the 18 States must Expand Medicaid to needy people like Gen Rodriguez my friend of Miami Fl. Gen needs $10,000 Worth of Medicines just to Breathe and live ! There are 3 Million Still Uninsured in America ! It will help 1 Million people in Fl alone including Gen’s mom Amy who is also Uninsured !

My Plan As Follows.: Part. 1 : Medicaid Expansion !
Part 2: The Continuing of Medicare for our Disabled and Seniors !
Part 3 : The Expansion of VA Healthcare. To Universal care where with a card A Veteran can get treatment at a Local Hospital, Doctors office and VA would reimburse it.

Too many Veterans are not getting the quality of care they need and deserve. I learned of this plight from my friend Nekole Mz Divah Dee . Herself an Army Veteran, and Tireless Veterans Activst ! The plan I have will enable Vets to get access to Vital Services at home rather than travel to a VA hospital.

Part 4 : The Requirement that people making over $100,000 buy insurance. Too many struggle now with the ACA. People making less would be in a Federal Medicare Public Option Plan. Where you would pay your normal Medicare premiums and get Healthcare.
If You make above $100,000.00 YOU CAN AFFORD YOUR OWN HEALTHCARE ! This plan does not subsidize the rich but those needing it ! Payment would be on a sliding scale based on Income and Family size.

Part 5 : Add Dental, Optical, and Auditory ‘ Hearing Aids to All Programs listed above ! Many Seniors can not afford hearing aids !
Part 6: Early Screenings  prevention and  treatment for children witn Add LD Autism and Physical Disabilaties until age 21 !  Plus Mental Heath Treatents also ! Too many suffer in silence and some cause pain for others by not getting treatment ! This would stop that !
Part 7: Mandate : All Medical Providers with Medical Licence Professional Licence Accept All Public and Private Insurances ! This will provide access to All Specialists saving lives !

This Plan is a MUST NEEDED BLUE PRINT ! Heathcare shouldn’t be about Democrats, Republicans,  Liberals, Conservatives. It should not be A Political Issue, but A Human Rights one ! I hope some will take my plan and present it to Our Elected officials ! I Do not care if you call it FreddieCare, FredCare ,or ChristianCare ! My only care is All Are Insured Period ! My Friends a few people have recently asked me What is #ExpandMedicaidNow ? Well I am going to explain it to all today ? In 2013 I was and Still am Uninsured ! Currently now for over 30 years ! Yes in my entire adult lifetime I have never had healthcare ! And it absolutely sucks !  I wrote about it in : My Blog : *My Healthcare Journey Pre and Post Petition .

But there is more to this story than that. I was uninsured in 2013 Still even with the ACA passing. I had no income so normally you qualify for Medicaid. But Not In Florida. Our Brilliant Governor (R) Rick Scott and the Florida Legislature refused to take Federal Matching funds to Expand Medicaid. At that time 27 other States did also. Currently 18 still refuse to #ExpandMedicaidNow ! Leaving Millions sick, and desperate, and dying !  There is a sense of Desperation as many who are sick can not wait to get well.

I was elated when the ACA – Affordable Care Act passed – Aka ObamaCare ! But because of Politics and heartlessness I sit here today STILL UNINSURED ! So I decided to do something about this. I always was into Civil Rights. Dr Martin Luther King Jr. is one of my Heroes. During the 50th anniversary of the MLK -“I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH. ” MSNBC Asked : What Will You Do to Advance The Dream ? ” I answered by Tweeting and Posting : “BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS”  As I just started my activism on Social Media by tweeting and posting a few months earlier. Keep in mind the only form of Activism I ever did was 4 letters to The Editor of  The Ocala Star Banner prior. And yes those letters can be foumd here too. I was a skeptic on the power of Social Media. But God called me to start a petition to Expand Medicaid in Fl – which got few signers but opened many doors.

Soon I was getting tweets and Posts shown on @edshow – with Ed Schultz. I buried my Governor for not helping us. But I needed attention and a news anchor I knew on twitter used # hastags alot. So I figured try it . And #ExpandMedicaidNow was born.The Now portion was added to illustrate the desperation Of : We The Uninsured in America, who need help Right Now. We simply can not wait ! Many of Us desperately need access to Medicines and Doctors Right Now. As we face pain ,suffering ,and death. Then came The Facebook page and Group – Expand Medicaid Now .Later twitter  this blog, and YOUTUBE Videos  happened. But This movement I Founded is more than just posts and tweets. God Called me to be that : VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS ON HEALTHCARE. I am blessed to say I am,

Our Goal is to Speak Up and Speak Out on this injustice. We are the Voices and Faces on this. Our Silence isn’t happening ! As my pages say Our Goal :  ALL INSURED IN AMERICA. ! And We Shall not rest until it happens. To me its not about Democrats or Republicans …, but human dignity and respect.. I work with a great team two of whom Amy Rodriguez and Daughter Gen  desperately need healthcare. Yes you can read their stories here also.

So #ExpandMedicaidNow is about Justice Dignity and Fairness. The ability to see a Dr. To go to any Hospital,  and not fear debts you can not pay ! In short its about dignity. And being A GOOD SAMARITAN AS WE ARE CALLED TO BE.

My Friends today I am going to share a bit of my Faith with you. I as some know am a Christian. I have been saved 23 yesrs. But I do not support Religious Hatred Bias and Ignorance.  I Am Not A Republican but a Democrat ! And Am A Liberal Christian.

God Called me to Speak Out Three years ago. I decided to be a Voice For The Voiceless. Meaning Speak For those who can not defend themselves ! Mainly the poor and oppressed ! My Ministry is on Social Media As A Social Media Activist !  I myself suffer currently for now 30 years without Healthcare. ****See My Blog on this SITE :  MY HEALTHCARE JOURNEY PRE AND POST PETITION -FOR THAT STORY. As a result I decided to fight the injustice of Gov Rick Scott and others who refused to #ExpandMedicaidNow  !  I became an Activist on this cause ! I. Started Several Facebook pages, Groups , tweet and blog. It is a Blessing. I founded Expand Medicaid Now to be the Voice For The Voiceless ! But I sense something very bad APATHY ! Yes Apathy  The Spirit that kills. !  So today I am going to summarize A Story in the Bible in LUKE 10 : 33-39 THE GOOD SAMARITAN – A Teaching of Jesus

  THE GOOD SAMARITAN ***NIV BIBLE
A Man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him, and went away leaving him half dead.  A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the.man, he passed to the other side. So too a Levite when he came to the place and saw him passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan as he traveled , came where the man was : and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him bandaging his wounds pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him . The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innnkeeper . Look after him, he said, and I when I return I will reimburse you for any expense you may have .
Which. Of these three men was a neighbor to. The man who fell into the hands of. Robbers.?

This teaching is so relevant to us today. ! We ignore the needs of the most vulnerable in Society ! We ignore the poor. Walk by the homeless and leave the sick to die. That is where I come in. As a Man of Faith and Good Conscience ! I simply can not let people suffer ! Too many do this ! Its not about POLITICS – HEATHCARE IS ABOUT HUMANITY ! The. Sad fact is We The Uninsured suffer in silence, ignored by many, helped. By few ! The meme above by Wallace Ingalls of Vote Blue – The American Samaritan says it All !! We leave too many sick and dying . As a person with a conscience I can not do this. Too many are ,my friends your inaction, by walking by the sick, or sitting on your hands is killing people ! Saying : “I Feel Bad or What A Shame ” does nothing !
I am trying to help a 21 yr old lady Gen Rodriquez have a full life ! She needs Medicine to Live and Breathe ! It costs $10,000 per month to do this ! Yes We must #ExpandMedicaidNow ! If we did done deal ! But those who refuse to act are like the priest and Levite  ! Just walking by not wanting involvement ! Leaving Gen’s Mom Amy Very Frustrated along with many of Us who don’t deserve to suffer like this !

That is just disgusting ! The parable meant :  Hey There are alot of poor and suffering do not ignore them ! Yet that is what happens ! This must change 1 Milliion Uninsured in Fl and Texas ! Many sick and dying too sooon ! Many working hard getting paid litle and being sick too !
We need more Good Samaritans out there ! The choice is yours Do nothing and walk by WE THE UNINSURED or be like The Good Samaritan Pick Us Up and Heal Us !
I am A person of conscience ! I can not walk by or sit on my hands ! We must #ExpandMedicaidNow For Amy Gen myself – WE THE UNINSURED !
So If you have a conscience please follow the example of the GOOD SAMARITAN and Heal Us ! By #ExpandMedicaidNow !

My Friends I am Outraged by what happened in Flint Michigan. Concerning the #FlintWaterCrisis ! Governor Snyder you should not just be ashamed but RESIGN and FACE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL CHARGES. You Sir are a Leader and A Horrible One ! The likes of which America has not seen since Mike Brown of FEMA ! – (Federal Emergency Management Agency ) ! and his leaving people on Rooftops to Die !  You said Governor “This Is My Katrina ! ” Yes Governor it is Your Katrina meets LOVE CANAL !  – The Upstate New York Community so Polluted that is was Unlivable due to toxic wastes being dumped tbere !

There will be so many people especially children who face needless suffering due to this ! It is a PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN RIGHTS DISASTER  !  Lead Poisioning causes multitudes of Health problems !  Especially Birth Defects and Cancer ! Plus mental Health problems !

To maim and kill ? – You must Resign and Face the consequences of your decisions be they both Civil and Criminal ! You Should Go to Jail for this !

There is an ongoing Public Health Crisis in Fl . The Failure to #ExpandMedicaidNow in Fl. Leaving 1 Million Uninsured ! Including myself Amy and Gen Rodriguez.   The Pattern of Both Governor Snyder and Governor Scott is the same ! Both being former CEO’S have an obseesive save money at cost mentality !

Is the saving of money worth killing and making your constituents sick  ?  Is it worth having them suffer sick and in pain like Amy and Gen Rodriguez do daily ! Gen needs $10,000 worth of Medicines to stay alive each month ! Now 21 and Uninsured she can’t get it !  Leaving her in peril !

But our State of Fl had 3 Unlucky Victinms who died Charlene Dill 32,  Barbara Dawson 57, and Maria Human 38. All died Poor and Uninsured in Florida.

The save money at All Costs must stop ! Florida and 18 other states refused to #ExpandMedicaidNow because of this !  Is human Life Worth more than money ? I hope so ! The decisions by both Governors Snyder in Michigan, and Scott in Fl. Show a Cold Callous disregard for human life.

Governors Scott and Snyder Your Constituents Are Your Responsibility ! We are Not A Product on a Shelf ! Your willfull ignorace is Actually Killing Us ! In Governor Snyders case :  Even Genrral Motors refused to use the Flint Water Supply ! Why it corroded auto parts  imagine that in a human body ? A case of Lack of Regard for Public Health ! A BIG TIME BREACH OF PUBLIC TRUST ! Which are Criminal Charges for An Elected Official ! Yes Michigan did #ExpandMedicaidNow – And They will need it ! As many will be sick and suffer and die !

What about Us in Fl ? We would die too soon like those I mentoned above !  We simply CAN NOT AFFORD PEOPLE LIJE THIS IN POWER ! The ZEAL TO SAVE MONEY COSTS MORE MONEY AND LIVES THAN ITS WORTH.

The Lesson in this Putting money before human life is not worth it ! The Risk too high with NO REWARD !  We are supposed to trust that Elected Officials have our best interests ! Not protect their wallets ! Both Gov Snyder and Gov Scott its Wallets First people last ! A danger to all who they fail to Protect and Serve !

Its 2016 My friends We face a choice Save money or Lives ? The Snyder Scott way of Corporate Slash and Burn ! Or To Be Loving and Humane ! I choose the Second one  I hope you will too !

I take my activism seriously and this election is Very Serious !  My reasons For Selecting Hillary Clinton over Sen Bernie Sanders or Any Republican As Follows :

1.  Gun Control :  Sen Sanders  and the GOP are Not Commited to Keeping Us Safe ! Sen Sanfers refuses to change his stance on Not Supporting The Brady Bill ! Plus he seems to lack a serious committment to this issue !
The GOP well they simply do not care. The NRA Has them bought and Paid For !

2. Health Care  : Sen Sanders means well with his Universal Healthcare plan .But its just not going to work ! You can not undo The ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, and The VA . This plan of his BLINDLY TRUSTS GOP GOVERNORS and STATES With Our Healthcare ! He will give BLOCK GRANTS TO STATES !  Bad idea Sen Sanders toTrust The likes of GOP GOVERNORS LIKE Rick SCOTT, NATHAN DEAL, PAT McCrory, Nikki Haley, and Gregg Abbbot with Our Healthcare ! As these individuals have shown a Refusal to #ExpandMedicaidNow in Fl and 18 other states ! Leaving people like myself Amy and Gen Rodriquez to suffer sick and Uninsured !

Sen Sanders Your plan for Healthcare  will kill us !  Not save us ! That is why I support Hillary Clinton she will #ExpandMedicaidNow, #SaveGen ,and #SaveLives ! Plus keep Us Safe !
