My Friends this is Part 3 in a 4 Part series Titled How Not to Run A Community ! It is about hunger and poverty and a Thank you to All who helped Interfaith Emergency Sevices Ocala / Marion County Fl when its food pantry was critically low in Oct 2011.

Uplifting fellow man
Thank goodness for people who still care. It is very encouraging to see people help each other. The case in point is the Bring The Harvest Home food drive.
Recently on MSNBC a Heritage Foundation report belittled poverty. They said you’re not poor if you have air conditioning and cable.
Well can any of this feed, clothe, or house you ? No ! Some don’t get that it is alot of work struggling to survive. They say everyone should prosper, but how can you on 10 or 15 hours a week, or no job at all.
It is sick to mock the sick as they did in one debate. Now they’ve sunk even lower, bashing the poor.
We need to show each other compassion, like you and others did during the food drive. If we all work together like this, we can prosper as a society. We have a choice. Listen to the curse of ignorance or do what is right and we all will be blessed.
Thank you for helping those who are down get back up. By doing this we all get lifted up.

My Friends this is Part 2 In my Series How Not To Run A Community ! This letter to the Editor of the Ocala Star Banner focuses on The Middle Class and Workers being attacked by the tea Party ! It was written in 2011. It is my response to tne Tea Party takeover of Congress and States and Communities !

Who’s Your Friend ?

Who is the friend of the middle class ? Definitely Not our Federal State and Local officials  They are from the “Too Big To Fail ” Crowd but instead of “Too Big To Fail” give us “Too Small to Work ”

When did it become smart to put the clueless in Power ? The idea was that when you voted for someone they would look out for all of us, not throw us under a bus.
Instead Congress and other members of Government can’t pass a Civics Course. But by being businessman first all they know is cut cut cut ! For example the tax cuts locally will affect Fire/Rescue service in the County.
The Teacher,  Policeman, Firefighter and Paramedic, along with the civil service workers are the middle class. That’s right they are the middle class.
They are the real friend who helps you when you are sick, scaired, or hurt 24/7 . Will Politicians help you 24/7 ? NO
Who teaches you to read learn and think critically ? Not the politicians.
We The middle class need to work together. We are All Family. – cooks, servers, mechanics, store clerks, casheirs, nurses, and custodians.
If We don’t care and work together, all our services will go away. Then under the bus we all go! Who loses then ? Sadly We All do. Even the clueless who pretend to be brilliant and powerful eventually join us.

My Friends yesterday I wrote a blog on NOT AN ALL AMERICAN CITY. IT was about my former City Ocala and Marion County Fl displaying The Confederate Flag ! So I am going to rewrite 4 letters to the editor of The Ocala Star Banner I wrote from approximately 2010 to 2012 ! I hope to educate on How The Tea Parry can destroy a Community !
Background on Part 1 Rescue Fire Rescue : I have had men and women of Ocala Fire Rescue help me and my family several times. So when they threatened to cut 2 Rescue Units (Not Ambulances) and go with 1 Engine only I had to do something

As A 24 year City/County Resident I have seen many changes for good and bad in our community. 
The current proposal regarding city Fire Rescue  and EMS service concerns me as a person who has the responsibility of caring for a disabled parent Full Time. My.Family has had to call on Fire- Rescue and EMS Several Times for service. Both my Father and I have always been treated very professionally by Ocala Fire Rescue.it would be a tragic mistake to cut service.
In regard to a recent study I saw on TV rating our quality of Life our community ranked 45 out of 67 Florida Counties. We may as well kiss any hope of getting better goodbye if we cut our Fire-Rescue service. 
We need these services to keep our community vital. If Not We become a Ghost Town

My Friends today I recently read about my Former Hometown Ocala Fl displaying the confederate Flag ! **Seource Daily Kos 7/7/2015 ! I am saddened but not surprised about this !

Marion County is the County and Ocala Fl is the City.  It is located in the County Governmental Complex ! I have been there a few times !

Ocala and Marion County should be a wake up call for America. It is a Christian Community ! But is Very Conervative and loves the tea party ! I now call it TEAPARTYVILLE !
It was a nice place to Live and Go to Middle School High School and Community College ! And people used to be tolerant ! Now I have friends that live there and I pity them.
Ocala Marion County was voted 1996 All American City ! Now its not at all !
How did this happen ? Well by 2008 The Housing Bust caused massive forclousures and the unemployment rate was at 14% ! No Jobs = No Hope ! But the area never wanted progress several Big names wanted to put plants or distribution centers there GM in 1976 Target Cysco Dollar General Wal Mart from 1997 to 2008 ! But the area refused to have good paying jobs for the residents there ! The best jobs were Lockheed Martin E-One FireTrucks Munroe Regional Medical Center and Publix Supermarkets ! Lots of Low Wage Fast Food and Hotel Jobs .As it is located off I -75 !
So it always was very GOP and in 2010 Bought into Tea Party anti Tax hysteria ! To the point of refusing to pass a 1/2 cent tax on Schools chasing teachers away ! And causing Munroe Regional Medical Center – The areas Crown Jewel Public Hospital to be sold and privatized !
The local Government and Power Brokers are NOT TOLERANT OF Outsiders ! Never Were ! And many there are not tolerant of the Disabled or Poor !  It is so bad Firefighters are now leaving the area too ! You can not make enough money to live there now !
It Was so bad before I left the Food Pantry Interfaith Emergency Services got Critically Low and had to have the Ocala Star Banner ask for help ! The community did help but still struggles today with hungry families ! This shows you the priorities of the community Taxes before its citizens welfare !
In 2012 Unable to find work and with an eye problem I have  my family left Ocala Marion County ! It changed to the point where I didn’t fit in ! Many were intolerant of my disabilaties and my being a Democrat and wanting to have a better community !
Before I left I wrote a few letters to The Editor of The Ocala Star Banner  ! They wanted to cut Fire Service and as an asthmatic and caring for a sick Parent We Needed them ! Cut the Hospital and other issues ! So I did what I could but…, the Powers That Be were bent on Distroying a Communty ! And Now they by redysplaying THE CONFEDERATE FLAG did that ! There are some nice people there they do not deserve this ! But when you give teaparty a foothold you see what happens !
Would I Live There again ? No ! This is now NOT AN ALL AMERICAN CITY ! Its #TeaPartyVille ! Ocala from a former resident who always wanted the best for you please #StopTheHateBeforeItStopsUs and #TakeDownTheFlag ! Thank you God Bless

My. Friends This should be a week of Positives for being A Liberal Progressive Democrat GAY Marraige The Law The ACA both Upheld by the U,S. SUPREME COURT !

But instead I have been seeing and hearing alot of anger and division on Facebook and Some on Twitter ! This crap upsets me and concerns me ! We have forces working for THEMSELVES NOT AMERICA THEIR NATION PARTY CAUSE STATE OR COMMUNITY ! My question How Can We Beat The GOP if We are attacking each other ?. #TPP IS OVER  ! We have serious stuff to still Fix ! And An Election to Win For Hillary Clinton Bernie Sanders or Whoever is Our Nominee ! We have a House and Senate and States to Take back !
Yet I see whining and anger over petty stuff  ! I see agendas that aid the GOP  ! FOR PROFIT GROUPS AND PAGES ! False Pages secretly supporting GOP maybe perhaps  ? – This is my suspicion I have No Proof Yet ! But if I do It Will be Public ! I will call out any cancers to #ExpandMedicaidNow and The Democratic Party on Facebook And Twitter as I Do With Gun nuts RWNJ HATERS THE KKK AND TROLLS !
In my own life I have been bullied as an adult in The Real World and as a kid ! I was bullied on Facebook and Twitter ! I PERSONALLY WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY SLANDER OR HIDDEN AGENDAS ANY MORE ! In my Groups Pages or Personal Pages of Any Supporters of #ExpandMedicaidNow or Myself ! On twitter I have some people BLOCKED FOR BLOCKING ME FOR NO REASON ! It is petty disgusting and Must stop !
I am Fighting For Medicaid Expansion for 1 Million people who could die ! This is No Damm JOKE PEOPLE ! Talk to Amy Rodriquez about her Daugter Gen Rodriguez and see …..This is in my heart to Fight for this Mom and Daughter ! I wish it was in more of yours to do so ! But instead we can’t seem to work together ! We have A Unifying Cause #ExpandMedicaidNow yet many fail to help us out ! Because its more about you ! Than others !
Real Activists suck it up and work together ! All except maybe a few I ever tagged in Posts are Real Activists and Good People ! And I Appreciate The Help Love Prayer and Support  ! On both Facebook and Twitter !   But I have many say they support and do not show up and I am Sick of It ! Self Promotion Helps No One !

My Friends Today June 25,2015 is a Great day for those fighting to keep and get Healthcare in The U.S.A.  ! The U.S.  Supreme Court ruled today that The ACA subsidies would remain as well as the extanges ! Thank you to Justices Sotomayor Kennedy Bader-Ginsburg Kaegan Breyer and yes again Chief Justice Roberts for doing the humane thing ! Your example should be followed by many of the opponets of the ACA and #ExpandMedicaidNow !
Its time to decide are we going to be humane or pinch pennies ? Isn’t your health or the health and well being of those in your Nation State and Communities more important than money !
This morning I was enraged at U.S. Sen Claire McCaskill’s (D) MO atttack on U.S. Sen Bernie Sanders (D) VT a Presidential Candidate on MSNBC MORNING JOE TODAY ;
MCcaskill was asked why Sanders was unelectable ? She said he is a Socialist favoring Government Heathcare We can’t afford ! ”

I personally find her comments insulting ! As an Uninsured person considering Hillary Clinton supports Single Payer too ! But it shows where We Are At As A Nation ! This funding and tax arguement is disgusting ! I PERSONALLY DO NOT CARE IF ITS DEM OR GOP LIB OR CONSERVATIVE ! If you say this garbage it shows how inhumane you are !
The idea is to save Lives Period ! I do this not just for myself but Amy and Gen Rodriquez and 1 Million others in Fl ! And in 19 other states too ! We must decide to be humane money can not help you if you are dead ! Hospitals Doctors Nurses and Pharmacies keep you alive ! So What do you want a Healthy Nation or a Sick and dying one ?
We THE UNINSURED NEED YOUR HELP AMERICA   ! Can and Will you fight for myself Amy and Gen Rodriguez and the still Uninsured in America ? Or will you sit on the sidelines and do nothing helping heartless penny pinching Politicians  let sick peoole die needlessly  ? The Choice is easy be humane help your fellow man woman and child ! My Friends this event with the #Charleston #CharlestonShooting is horrible ! My Thoughts and Prayers do go out to all 9 Families Involved and The City of Charleston and South Carolina ! But as First Lady Michelle Obama Eloquently said today “We need to do more than just say our thoughts and prayers are with you !”  She is right ! I agree with her. Too many are dying today like in that Church in Charleston S.C. that don’t have to !

We All can breathe a sigh of relief the gun man was caught ! But now we are facing two real crisises ahead ! A crisis of Hate that has been simmering for years ! This hate of our Government President and others who are somehow perceived “As Different”  !
Plus another crisis Guns that are used by people having NO BUSINESS HAVING ONE ! These two crisis are a National Emergency !

The Hate and division is not just Racial it is economic also ! It has transcended from Racial Religious and Ethnic to Ideological and Economic ! As a Poor Disabled person who is White I sympathize with All Victims of Injustice ! I face it in my Cause of #ExpandMedicaidNow  ! As We The Uninsured in Fl were denied healthcare once again ! A clear example of Hate ! I see it when I am on Social Media I have been called vile things by some hateful individuals ! This hate is in our Government now !

Sandy Hook should have sent a message to Us as a people ! But it didn’t ! Instead The NRA NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION keep up their REIGN OF TERROR on our Elected officials by threatening to unseat them if they dare make America Safer !

Yesterday proved that The NRA and the forces of hate are working to divide and will destroy America ! The  ASSASIN / DOMESTIC TERRORIST  in the Church in Charleston wanted to harm others he admitted it ! Why BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT LIKE HIM ! I faced a KKK member on Twitter and with help got him off of it ! The ignorance and hate he spewed was sickening  ! But We Stood Up to Him !

That is What the First Lady and President Obama meant in their statements ! We as a peoole must do some real soul searching ! Our Nation is at Stake I believe there are forces who want THEIR AMERICA out there ! And their America is not pretty for anyone except them !

We face a choice keep allowing hateful individuals to deny us healthcare safe communities and our basic rights and dignity ! Or to make some changes !

We should be able to see a Dr or go to a Hospital without worry of Financial Ruin ! We should be able to go to a Mall Theater School College or our Workplace without fear of being shot ! We should be able to live in safe affordable communities where you can be outside ! We should be able to go to Church and Worship in Peace ! This is about #Dignity and #Resoect because yes #BlackLivesMatter #PoorLivesMatter and #AllLivesMatter !

The Hate is every where now rich poor famous we all see it feel it and some of us get it ! And it is needless ! Do I want YOUR GUNS ? No I don’t I just want a Safe kind decent Nation Again ? My friends we have had an interesting few years particularly this last one .  We have seen outrageoys actions by Law Enforcement in #FERGUSON MISSOURI with #Mike Brown. NYC with #Eric Gardner #Baltimore with #FreddieGray and recently #Texas with #TexasPoolParty.
But its not just the Police who seem to lack a sense of calm and respect for others. But our very own elected officials as well, There is alot of mistrust and misunderstanding going on.
What is needed is RESPECT AS The Great ARETHA FRANKIN Sang :”R-E-S-P-E-C-T Find Out What It Means to Me” Well what does it mean to you ?
Does it mean sitting on top of a 15 yr old girl who was at a pool parry or chasing un armed teens at the same place ? To me the answer is obvious NO RESPECT PERIOD. The same with #Baltimore #FreddieGray #NYC #EricGardner #Ferguson #MikeBrown. But at the same time burning  property and theft is showing no RESPECT either. You can voice your anger frustration and disapproval without harming others or property. Yes Law Enorcement that means you too ! Its called Respect !
But its not just Law Enforcement its our elected oficials as well. The Lack of Respect for President Barack Obama absolutely disgusts me ! I support him I know he cares about me and others . Yes on one policy I disagreed with him. But I do not belive as some do that he has any agenda that is hidden. This man gave many of us Healthcare re created jobs lost by the GOP. Yet the hate of this hard working man is beyond insane. But its not just Him President Bill Clinton was hounded daily by enemies. We are losing RESPECT for oters by taking a disagreement and turning it into hate.
For Example My State of Fl turned down Medicaid Expansion that would have helped 1 Million Fl Residents including myself Amy Rodriquez Gen Rodriquez and many others who desperately need it ! Leaving us to still beg for care or go to the ER or potentially die. As a result of the GOP in Fl and their hate of President Obama ! Governor Scott and Speaker Steve Crissafulli have No Respect for Human Life by doing this !
Yet Governor Scott topped himself by VETOING A BILL That Even Speaker Crissafulli wanted that would Protect Conveniece Store Workers – If harmed in a Robbery while on the job. His rationale It costs too much. So The Governor shows where he is at – He RESPECTS
money and the power brokers with it ! Not Us the Working people of Fl.
The lack of RESPECT costs us daily ! Lives are at risk of WE THE UNINSURED ! The Sevice Sector many of whom barely make enough money to survive and are the victims of Governor Scott and his lack of RESPECT FOR OTHERS ,
Talk to the Family of Charlene Dill 32 yr old Single Mom of 3 died without health insurance ! Medicaid Eligible in Fl ! A woman who worked 3 jobs to support herself and her kids. Yet died of a heartattack on a floor of a persons home selling Vacum cleaners to support herself and kids. – NO RESOECT FROM GOV SCOTT OR THE FL HOUSE !
No RESPECT FOR Mike Brown Eric Garner Freddie Gray either ! What do all have in common ! They like me are poor !
THE WAR ON POVERTY HAS TURNED INTO A WAR ON THE POOR ! But just because those doing this to us do not RESPECT US is no excuse to act in Violence ! We must show RESPECT FOR OTHERS Even If NONE is Shown Back !
Trust me I know as A Social Media Activist who is Disabled I get it daily ! The TROLLS ARE VICIOUS ! But TROLLS KNOW THIS I AM NOT GOING AWAY ! We must not give uo or give in because #Poverty and #PoorLuvesMatter #BlackLivesMatter and #AllLivesMatter ! No matter its about #Dignity and #RESPECT At The End of The Day !
