Posted @withregram • @perfectunion Workers in North Carolina are currently voting on whether they will become the second unionized Amazon warehouse in the U.S.

Workers say Amazon is covering up injuries, intimidating pro-union workers, and pitting workers against each other along racial lines.

The workers are demanding $30 an hour, more paid time off, sick pay, and longer breaks.

If they win, it would be a huge victory for North Carolina’s labor movement, which has the second-lowest union density in the country thanks to its Jim Crow-era “right to work” law.
